LM20E – the analytical routine module with 20 channels
The LM20E is designed to cover higher sample amounts for the routine testing of e-cigarettes, vaporizers and heated tobacco products. It offers the operator 20 individual vaping ports on its swiveling puffing bar which allows vaping in different angles to the horizontal position.
In blocks of 4 ports each the sample ports are connected to 5 high performance piston pumps PM1, which are controlled by a touchscreen user interface. The complete sequence of the vaping process is coordinated by the control unit according to the master/slave principle. The operator is guided through the self-explanatory software and informed about LM20E current status as comprehensively as possible. By Ethernet interface LM20E can be linked to central computer systems for transfer of vaping plans and result tables. The ports are as well connectable to the most common trapping systems like Cambridge Filter Pads, Liquid traps (Impingers) or electrostatic precipitation. Optionally it can be equipped with aerosol detection units to control aerosol flow. Other features and options are the integrated free adjustable sample activation units and the sample holders keeping every test specimen in the ideal position. It is all fitted in an ergonomic portable rack which offers the direct placement of the chosen trapping systems.
